#43 The Western Archipelago

Sweden is a country with a lot of coast and beautiful archipelagos. The pictures in this post are from the west coast, just outside Gothenburg – actually only 20 minutes by car and another 20 with a small ferry. The western archipelago is very different from the eastern. Here [in the west] it is a hard and raw environment with almost no trees. The eastern archipelago is mainly green and with a lot of trees on the small islands. I will do a post from the east as well, later on.

I brought my Fujifilm X-T2 kit for this trip – as a kind of dress rehearsal for our upcoming trip to the Faroe Islands. In this kit I have the X-T2 house (of course), a 10-24/4, a 18-55/2.8-4 and a 55-200/3.5-4.8. I think I also will bring my only WR (weather resistant) lens – the 50/2. The weather on the islands can be ruff from time to time.
The gear worked fine and I think this will be a good set up. I will bring along the Leica Q as backup. More about this trip in coming posts.
