It feels like it was only yesterday when the fields were green and growing. The cold and darkness was gone and the days were getting longer. Now, suddenly, the farmers are harvesting all around.

But it is only august and we still have a couple of months before the days are shorter then the nights, here in Sweden. This part of the summer can be really nice – even if the vacation period is over.

One can’t help thinking about the harvest period next year – wonder what we will see on the fields next summer. Will the farmers be able to buy fertilizers? Who would have thought this half a year ago. War is totally mindblowingly crazy…

My camera is set to black and white again. I keep going back to monochrome shooting. That is where I am from and it seems it will stay that way…
