This is a picture from the summer of 2016 – one of the first pictures shot with my first Leica M6. We were on a summer festival in our home town Linköping. The Swedish singer Miriam Bryant were giving a concert at the big stage. People were happy – I was happy. Finally I was shooting with a Leica. If I had brought my Fuji X-Pro2 that night I am sure that I had shot at least 30 frames. I am not that sure that I would have found a picture that I would come back to.
I shot two pictures with the M6. One of them – this one – has been one I have come back to lots of times. It is not the best picture of the world. But since I only took two pictures, I remember the moment.

Another example. My friend Martin was visiting us the last days of 2016. We went for a walk in our village and Martin tried out my first digital Leica – the M8. I had my M6 and took one picture. Martin – who had a digital camera – also took one. Then the battery was dead. Another moment I remember. One shot was enough.
