Waking up in Helsingborg this morning. When ever I have the time I take an early walk along the ocean. This morning was a perfect day for black and white photos. Started out with my Nikon F3 and a roll of Tri-X film. After a while I switched to the Leica M. The cloudy sky…

#305 About a Picture
This picture is from the last roll of my Leica M4. Wow how I regret selling that camera. I will get one again – I promise. When I do I will tell my wife to hit me in the head if I should put it out for sale. How stupid can a man get…
#304 The farmers are back
Finally the ”farmers market” is back in Linköping after a winter break. A nice tradition where we can buy food from the nearby farms instead of the boring stuff at the supermarket. It has become a sign of spring – even though the weather gods hasn’t decided about spring yet. I heard that the snow…
#303 About a Picture
I love the sea a windy day. When ever I can, I take my camera with me to try and capture the power of the sea. This time it was the Baltic Sea on the west coast of Gotland.

Blue sky. Minus 6 degrees Celsius. Snow. A fantastic day. The water tower in our village is no beauty – but even that can be nice a day like this…
#300 Timeless Tri-X
Found an unscanned black and white Kodak TRI-X in a box yesterday. Scanned it and found some pictures that felt timeless. They are shot in my birth town Helsingborg in december 2021…but at the same time I felt like they could have been pictures from one of my first TRI-X rolls in the 1980:s.

The snow is gently melting away around our neighbourhood. Ice still covers the small country road where we often walk. The sun doesn’t fully reach it yet…but now it is only a matter of time. Still – it is only January and the winter will probably come back again…
#292 Leica M10 in Gothenburg
Have spent a couple of days in Swedens second city Gothenburg. Had my Leica M10 in my bag, of course and shot some pictures between work sessions. In the morning and evening we had to cross the river to get to our meetings. A great way to start and finish the work day. There were…
#291 Vadstena
Sunday. Still cold weather outside, but that didn’t stop us from taking a hike around Vadstena, by Lake Vättern. Interesting to see how the Leica M10 would handle minus 10 dregrees Celsius. We were outside for about an hour and a half and the M10 worked just fine. Nice to know… It is not every…

Minus 17 degrees celsius. The sun has just set and the mist almost hides the church in the nearby village. What a sight…
#289 Cold sunset
Really really cold in Sweden tonight. About -40 degrees celsius in the north and ”only” -12 down here in the south. The sky was fantastic as the sun set. I went to a nearby church and took some pictures with my M10 on a tripod. Used the Zeiss 4,5/21mm on the camera.

The cormorants are lined up and watching the ship on it´s way to Copenhagen. The sea is calm in the early morning. The next morning it may be a storm or freezing fog. The ship will pass and the cormorants will watch it. I only saw it this morning – but I can see it…
